11-12-08 To all O.A.R. fans that have been awaiting concert dates, wait no more, as O.A.R. has announced dates for their summer tour. O.A.R. will be headlining shows as well as playing in support of the Dave Matthews Band this summer. The group has been around since 1996, emerging from the college scene in Columbus, OH. The band has a large following comprised mostly of college kids and the younger generation, but their music appeals to all age groups. You may be familiar with the opening song of ABC's EXTREME HOME MAKEOVER, or the theme song for the past two years of the NCAA College Baseball World Series, both of which are done by O.A.R.. It seems as the O.A.R.'s following grows larger every year and in 2006, they sold out Madison Sq. Garden. Their music has the ability to get everyone in the crowd jamming with a mixture of quality lyrics, smooth beats and catchy guitar riffs. Make sure to come catch O.A.R. at House of Blues Dallas, in Dallas. Whether they are headlining or not, it is sure to be a great and fun show.
