This album is Kid Rock’s first album to go number 1 in his entire career and has produced three singles including “So Hott”, “Amen”, and “All Summer Long”. His third single, “All Summer Long” includes music from Warren Zevon’s “Werewolves of London” and Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Sweet Home Alabama” with Kid Rock’s new lyrics. This is currently Kid Rock’s highest charting song, making it on Top Charts worldwide.
Lynyrd Skynyrd is an American Southern Rock band, formed in 1964. Lynyrd Skynyrd current members include Johhny Van Zant, Gary Rossington, Billy Powell, Ean Evans, Rickey Medlocke, Michael Cartellone, and Mark Matejika. Lynyrd Skynyrd was introduced into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2006. Many years after the break up and a plane crash that took the lives of Ronnie Van Zant, Steve Gaines, Cassie Gaines, and Dean Kilpatrick, Lynyrd Skynyrd reunited and formed a full scaled tour with the crash survivors and former gui9tarist Ed King. Ronnie Van Zant’s younger brother, Johnny, took over as the new lead singer and primary songwriter. Lynyrd Skynyrd has continued touring with the remaining members of the band that only reunited for a tribute tour for the deceased members.
