Motley Crue is back on the road and bringing some friends with them. Bands on tour with Motley Crue consist of Buckcherry, Papa Roach, Sixx: A.M., and Trapt. Motley Cru’s Cruefest 2008 will be rocking out in Dallas on 08-08.
Motley Crue is an American heavy metal band formed in Los Angeles, California in 1981. The band consists of Nikki six, Tommy Lee, Mick Mars, and Vince Neil. Motley Crue released their ninth studio album entitled Saints of Los Angeles in June and will also be releasing a film adaptation of the best selling band autobiography The Dirt, sometime in 2009. You can expect to hear all of Motley Crue’s singles including “Girls, Girls, Girls”, “Afraid”, “If I die tomorrow”, and “Saints of Los Angeles”.
Buckcherry is a hard rock band formed in Los Angeles, California in 1995. The band released town albums before creating a new band in 2005 that consists of Josh Todd, Keith Nelson, Stevie D., Xavier Muriel, and Jimmy Ashhurst. In 2006, Buckcherry released their third album 15 and gained nation stardom.
15 included hit singles such as “Crazy Bitch” and “Sorry”. Buckcherry will release their fourth studio album entitled Black Butterfly in September 2008.
Papa Roach is an American rock band from Vacaville, California. Papa Roach found international stardom with their three time platinum album Infest. Papa Roach consist of Jacoby Shaddix, Jerry Horton, Tobin Esperance, and Tony Palermo. Their fourth studio album, Metamorphosis, will be released in October, 2008. “Hanging On”, “I Almost Told you That I Loved You”, and “Change Or Die” are songs that will be featured on Papa Roach’s new album and played on the CrueFest tour.
Sixx:A.M. is a hard rock heavy metal band formed in 2007. Sixx:A.M. released their first studio album in 2007 entitled The Heroin Diaries soundtrack. Sixx:A.M. band member include Nikki Sixx, DJ Ashba, James Michael, and Joshua Stevens. Sixx:A.M. originally planned to not tour but later held a nationwide vote. They finally decided to join the CrueFest tour.
Trapt is an alternative rock band that formed in Los Gatos, California in 1997. Trapt consists of Chris Brown, Robb Torres, Peter Charell, and Aaron Montgomery. Trapt has released three studio albums, their latest being in 2008 entitled Only Through the Pain. The first single from Trapt’s album “Who’s going Home With You Tonight?” was featured on the video game “Rock Band”.
Crue Fest 2 has been known to put on an amazing show. CrueFest consist of bands that have been around for ages and ones that are new to the scene; however, they all have one thing in common, they know how to rock n’ roll.
