Def Leppard are an English hard rock band from Sheffield, England who formed in 1977 as part of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal movement. Def Leppard has become one of the top-selling rock groups in the 1980’s, selling more than 65 million records worldwide. The group is led by Joe Elliott whose husky vocals have driven the band since inception.
